About Me
I have been a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California since 2018. My purpose is to provide a safe place for you to feel understood, accepted, and free to be yourself as you work towards creating positive change. I have struggled with anxiety since a very young age, which led me to my first experience as a client. This laid down a foundation for me to fill my toolbox with tools I can now share with you. I believe that all therapeutic approaches are beneficial and that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment and encourage you to focus on the here-and-now. My work is a mindfulness and attachment based approach weaved together with Somatic Experiencing and EMDR.
You are in the right place ...
I am here to remind you that you are safe in your body. You are safe in the world. Often we get tied up in the weeds of our thinking. We must tend to our own garden. As you hold yourself through the very next step in a time of challenge you intentionally rise into the highest version of yourself.
You are stronger than you think you are ...
Transitions are hard. They are the vehicle of your greatest awakening. Often it’s the contractions after the expansions that teach us our greatest lessons. Holding on to things that no longer serve you comes from your younger self that was afraid, the part that formed innocent patterns that were designed to meet a need. Typically a need to feel safe and secure. To have comfort when things became overwhelming. When you choose to let go of a pattern, you are asking a tender part of yourself to trust that you can get through something that was at one time terrifying. Healing is the capacity to navigate pain with gentle awareness.
